• £500 purchases a flight for a lawyer to visit prisoners in Guantánamo Bay 
• £200 keeps an investigator on the road for two days, uncovering the facts to save a life
• £100 buys an hour of professional translation of interviews with victims and witnesses of extraordinary renditions
• £50 pays for a medical examination for a prisoner exonerated and released from death row
• £5 pays for a single police report in a death penalty case

What a major gift could do 

• £50,000 pays for a full-time lawyer or investigator working in a death penalty jurisdiction in the US for two years
• £25,000 pays for a lawyer to work on death penalty cases in the US full-time for one year
• £1,000 buys a DNA test for a wrongfully convicted prisoner on death row

Making a regular donation

The simplest way to make a regular donation is by standing order. Regular donations enable Reprieve to make commitments to the cases of particular prisoners with the confidence that the organisation will be able to honour those commitments in the months and years to come. For £5 a month you will become a Reprieve supporter, receiving our quarterly newsletter. Leave a legacy to Reprieve 

Most of us don’t know exactly when we will face death, yet many of us have the foresight to make a will to ensure that our assets are disposed of as we would wish.

If you are making a will, please consider recognising the plight of those people who do know to the date and the hour when they will face death, and in what form, by leaving a legacy to Reprieve to assist those on death row or facing other human rights abuses at the hands of the State. Payroll giving

Payroll giving is the simple way to make regular donations direct from your monthly pay or company pension to help Reprieve’s work. It is tax free, so it costs you less to give more. It is flexible, as the total donation made each pay period can be changed whenever you require.
